Twenty years of progressive technology leadership — most recently as the sole technology executive at a Toronto-area chartered professional accounting firm, with prior depth across enterprise software, financial services, media, telecommunications, and the public sector. CTO, senior director, and programme manager seats; partner conversations through to 911-dispatch programmes.
Most recently: seven years owning the full technology mandate at a Toronto-area chartered professional accounting firm. Strategy, infrastructure, security, vendor governance, ERP advisory for client engagements, and a $300K+ annual IT budget. Reduced annual technology spend by 28% through vendor negotiation and portfolio rationalisation. Led the firm-wide AI programme — Microsoft 365 Copilot roll-out, Power Automate workflows, Power BI executive reporting, and the responsible-use policy that kept client data inside the boundary. Migrated the firm to Azure Virtual Desktop with Azure Files + FSLogix profile containers, and stood up Veeam-based DR with defined RPO/RTO and validated failover.
Earlier work spans the full enterprise spectrum. Delivered an Olympic-scale public-facing application against a fixed launch date. Built a digital drive-thru program for a global quick-service brand, piloted across South America. Managed a nationwide bank branch deployment across 100+ locations. Recovered a $1.7M mainframe infrastructure program from red to green in 30 days, realigning 21 onshore and offshore resources in the process. Managed up to 45 concurrent enterprise IT implementations — 600+ projects delivered in three years across budgets from $25K to $4.2M. Led a full ERP migration from AS/400 to PeopleSoft & Oracle for a 700-user enterprise environment, designing nine remote networks along the way. Supported a citywide emergency-services 911 systems upgrade within a $35M envelope.
